I have a friend who read an article in which it stated Neil's name is pronounced "guy"man. I have another friend who said he met Gaiman and was introduced to him with the pronunciation "gay"man. Which is it? I like "guy"man better, but who am I?

Apparently there was applause for the correct pronounciation of his name at an awards ceremony when he received a reward for 'positive portrayals of gay and lesbian characters' which I think means it's 'gayman'. I have never heard it said out loud though.
