i'm beginning to think that all the gaiman characters i can think of are too cool for me to be one.
maybe i'm a bit like hazel, not too bright and with a big heart.

In actions and personality: Destruction, definatly destruction.

Big heart, shirks off responsiblility, is a terrible aspiring artist. Likes to be alone...yeah.

Looks?

Given that we were talking on the last page about sausages, I'd have to plump for Shivering Jemmy. I love that she has that playfulness and childish delight in the world - she's like a mix between Delirium and a really impulsive Lucifer. Delightful and dangerous - that sounds like a good thing to aim for.

Did Mister Shouty really be sausages?

Oh, wow. Hob Gadling easily. I related to him immediately. I've had some not so wonderful times in my life, but wanting death has always seemed laughable to me, for, geez, more reasons that I can say or explain completely. Also, I've always wished that I would live longer. One lifetime isn't enough. To get to live, say, two, would be so extraordinary. I guess I want to see more than just my era. I want to see the beginning and end of eras. Blah, I'm babbling now. Hob Gadling. Definitely, and always, Hob Gadling.

I'd be some one time character that followed Dream around, desperately in love with him...

I probably in personality resemble the DeCarrabas the most...

Oh my, what a wonderful topic!

Well, once a young fellow compared me to Delirium, but, I would have to disagree, although I do carry a few of her traits, such as the ability to entertain myself easily.
But, I am very much my own person, so, in all honesty I do not think I am at all like any of Neil's fantastic characters, they are far too unique to resemble anybody at all really.

I can't answer that honestly, his characters are all wonderful, holding different aspects of all kinds... however; my little sister remind me sooo much of Little Lucy from wolves in the walls, she even had a lil stuffed pig puppet called "piggy-wiggy" that she took EVERYWHERE. I dont think I have ever cried so much through a book. I had a smile with my tears the whole time though... Big Grin

At the moment I'm 33 weeks pregnant and as I was about to get in the bath the other night my husband told me that I looked like Despair. Not very flattering but sadly pretty accurate.

Poor you. I reckon I'm a composite. I'm not sure of the exact componants but it's probably something like 80% Destruction (trying to be creative and not doing that well but keep trying anyway, like my own space, fondness for bread and cheese (well, the toasted variety anyway), extreamly vauge physical resemblence that's mostly hair related), 6% Dream (can hold a grudge for ages, slight tendency to brood and the bit in 'Sound of her Wings' where Death's giving him an earful was oddly familer), and 3% Delirium (my mind works in mysterious ways). I don't know about the remaining 11% but Death is probably in there somewhere.

I'm probably most like Richard from Neverwhere, or Fat Charlie from Anansi Boys. After they learn to stand up for themselves a bit. Not sure who I look like. Maybe Hob?

Wouldn't mind being a bit more like Shadow sometimes.

At the risk of terrifying poor Abel identifying pkitty - I'm definitely Cain. Wink

I'm the oldest in my family, and well, my relationship with my younger siblings is certainly a lot like the scene in Dream Country where Cain kills Abel, and then, as he leaves, says, "It's your turn to make dinner. Take care of yourself," or something to that effect.

Visually, though, I'm rather like Delirium, partly because of my shaved head, partly because I have a really. Big. Dog.

Don't mind me, I'm just saying stuff.

Probably what would suit me best would be Lucien, the librarian from Dream's domain. Maybe I'll apply for such a job for a few hundred years after I die. Sounds like a plan.

Who I'd like to be is Matthew the raven. Yeah, I wish.

And this is my 200th post, btw.
