There are probably theories out there about Jack the Ripper being murders done by multiple people. I read somewhere though that handwriting experts think they found the guy, but they will probably never know for sure. But if it were multiple people, then Jack the Ripper would indeed be a fictional character. Good enough. =]


Yeah I suppose, and besides that, there have been Jack the Ripper characters in movies such as Shanghai Knights and books like Touch The Dark, so either of those would count anyways. =P

Any particular French Jacques character?
This is (not that you can tell from some posts Razz) supposed to be a thread about fictional Jacks...

If it were just about the name 'Jack', I could suggest 'Hans' or 'Jakob', too.
Actually, there are several fictional 'Hans' characters in German stories, but really, it ain't 'Jack'....

Yes, but Jacques what? The other Men Jack are all Jack Something- Jack Frost, Jack Tar, Jack Dandy, etc...
