Rock City is the only place I can think of. You know, from the ending of American Gods.

I'm assuming you mean fictional books...in which case sadly none...as most of the books I read feature places that don't actually physically exist.

That said, I'm planning on visiting the Glastonbury Tore (I know that's not how you spell it...I can't remember...twenty lashes with a wet noodle for me)...next year when I take my trip to England.

I'm was quite supprised to find Edmonton (the one in London, not Canada!) in 'The League of Extrodinary Gentlemen'.

It's where they find the invisible man, raping women in that girls school.

How lovley!!

I used to work in Edmonton. It's no surprise!

You are a Tradesman. Long before labor unions, your guilds were powerful enough to make a free-market capitalist run away screaming. Who controls the British Crown? Who keeps the metric system down? You do, you do.

There's a nice sequence in China Mieville's King Rat where a character bike rides from Brixton to Notting Hill and I can actually visualise the route in my head as i've cycled it many times.

And there's a lot of places that get blown up in War of the Worlds (book not film) that are near me and I've visited in my youth (and thought how nice it would be if they were vapourised)
