"Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates"' is my absolute favorite Tom Robbins. He has no comparasin.

only read 'Another Roadside Attraction' and 'Still Live with Woodpecker'. the first is utterly compeltly awesome... the second provided the Beatles personality test i used anyway (i'm a John fan)
A hearty second on loving Jitterbug Perfume. I've also read Even Cowgirls Get the Blues which is great, and Still Life With A Woodpecker which left me a bit disappointed.
Searching for "perfume" brought up Tom Robbins (now there's a memory - he was my "Neil Gaiman" at one time!)
I read his books religiously for a while. Really wanted someone to make a film of Jitterbug Perfume but after Even Cowgirls get the Blues I was doubtful one would ever be made (now somebody will tell me it did get made and it flopped!) I loved his stuff... Never heard of "Fierce Invalids" though?
