Has anyone read/seen the new Alan Garner, and is it good enough to justify buying it now rather than waiting?

Looks interesting. Loved his books when I was a kid. There was a recent adaptation of 'Weirdstone' on BBC Radio 4 extra.

Here's what Ursula LeGuin has to say

I loved his books, too- "Weirdstone" more than the rest- but I didn't think the Moon of Gomrath was as good. I'll have to look out for the adaptation, I hadn't heard of it. I think I might wait for the new one to get cheaper before I buy it, though, it seems quite expensive, but thanks for the link to the review.
