I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.

the parrot... ...gets tiresome.
the parrot... ...i ate him.

I think we're going to find out KK can do something really cool.
I just hope next week's not skip week!

CLV is obscene and wrong. no chance your library would get it!

and one wonders if KK's special ability is to go splat? the whole thing comes to an end in the next couple of weeks? after 3 books of build up? specifically designed to annoy those people who thought it was too slow?

as if by magic, the shop keeper appeared...

Freak angels is not allowed to end it must run for ever and ever!
@ Smaug CLV is fantastic, but a very short read, so well worth trying to convince your library to get it. But you might find you want to buy it after reading it if you enjoyed it as much as I did.

My guess would be she's pissed because she doesn't want to be teleported.

I figured she was talking to the gutter, a sort of, "Don't you break on me, you piece of shit construction" kind of thing.

I thought that the gutter had just come loose in the middle corner, so her situation just got that much more precarious

I started reading FreakAngles when it came out but I have fallen behind. I am in the process of catching up.

The long long awaited Planetary # 27 came out yesterday.

Anyone else read it yet?

What did you think?

I loved it! It may not have been worth the wait but it was fun and it felt good to read.

I know Ellis has said that he went through a lot of crap, including health issues during the run of Planetary and he did not have any warm a fuzzy feelings regarding the series, but I think it is my favorite Ellis work. It is right up there with Transmet but completely different.
