I think Howl's Moving Castle is really good. I loved its fun & playfulness. Having said that, my flatmate really didn't like it, although I can't for the life of me imagine why...

Try this pump; here's a stilletto; my, did you see the calves on that pony? Size 6? Oh, madame, really! Still, there are so many hooves, and so little time, and you often miss out on the fun (and the better meme results.)

Just started The Brother's Karamazov by Dostoevsky. Let's see how much I can get through.

"The other night I dreamed that King George VI was dead, and that Helen Hardinge had somehow or other got herself proclaimed Queen of England, and that I was detailed to go and tell her that it wouldn't do at all; and when I did this, all she said was, 'You see, I am really Queen Mary,' and I said, 'Oh very well' - words to that effect, and woke up.

Last night I dreamed that Eisenhower came to stay with us, and he insisted on being put to sleep in the dog kennel, with a collar and chain about his neck."

Yep, that's the one. It's also on my reading list for either this or next year.

Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Strikes Again. I was going to read Ode to Kirihito, but I figured I deserved a treat. That book will come later.

I'm attempting The Harlequin by Laurell K. Hamilton. I hear it's not as orgy-tastic as the last few have been. I still think she puts way too much information in her dedications. From the dedications alone have I been able to follow the drama going on in her life. *shakes head*

I'm about 1/4 through Coldheart Canyon by Clive Barker

I love being swept up in a good book! This one has Old Hollywood Mixed with Current Hollywood mixed with some really dark ritualistic orgy stuff from the dark ages in Romania....

Just finished The Paper Mage by Leah R. Cutter. I really enjoyed it. Much more than I thought I would.

I'm about to start Specimen Days by Michael Cunningham. We'll see.

Heh. Got about two pages into it and realized I'm not in the right mindspace for it right now. I need something light and fluffy. I'll give it another shot another time.
