First, I pop on some music. Doesn't help with creativity one bit, but gives my concious mind something to occupy it while waiting for the unconcious bit to kick something out. Then, I sit down for an hour. Or two if I'm up for it, but at least one. Write down any thought that's vaguely related to what I might want to write - and when I start a new project, it usually starts with Fantasy, Superhero, or Sci-Fi. I write down any related thought, even if it looks useless. It gets it out of my head, and there's been a surprising number of cases where I wrote down something that's clearly been done to death and then five notes later, realized a way to make that done to death bit fun again. Collect all interesting and related bits at the beginning of the next session and repeat. Eventually, I morph brainstorming sessions into writing sessions for an actual text/script.

I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.

when's spring due?.

Inspiration can be found by watching a movie, reading a book, listening to music, etc. Best thing to do is not force it. If the idea is something that will click with you it will come of its own accord.

"Some wills are too strong to die. And there are powers to formidable to be contained." -Metall-x

"How are you doing all this?""I never saved any for the trip back" (Gattaca)
