I come up with a few pieces ever so often.
This was one I wrote almost 2 years back when a friend asked for something about stars. Seeing that we're counting down to the opening of you know what, I thought it appropriate to bring it out of the closet again. One of the few non-melancholic and the first triolet: Hope you guys enjoy it and pardon the amateur! To see the stars in dark of night is like a life shared - good and kind. If you would, turn down the lights to see the stars in dark of night. Though there're times when these flare bright and set us up all dazed and blind, to see the stars in dark of night is like a life shared - good and kind. When Nature calls, we answer. Or else. ~ Me |

I love that this board has members that are willing to share their own creative natures.
That was beautiful, Albene. Thank you. My heart ruptured in a thousand ways That day Hemorrhaging sorrows Countless ways of tearing me apart Chambers of inadequacy glowing Showing, my flaws In tormenting cruel lights porcelain interior There once was a doll who was stuck in the wall. I cut her head off at nightfall. Now my dolly is dead. Chillingly, killingly, thrillingly Dead Maybe, I should have cut off her arms instead. This message has been edited. Last edited by: adrienne, |
