That would be me. *Laughs* I saw the group mention here, and assumed it was open to all members of both boards. If it's a problem I'll gladly remove it. Don't want to cause a fuss.

Just let me know if I should remove it. Thanks!

~*Takes the red balloon and quickly adds it to a group of other multi-colored balloons, 'cause you know... single balloons are incredibly creepy!*~

Thanks guys! Yeah, I've been a lurker for quite a bit, checking posts about this and that, but never really feeling that I could add anything more profound than what was already here. I'm usually a chatterbox, strangely enough!

I look forward to interacting and posting more here. Who knows? Maybe I'll be able to coax more lurkers from the shadows...

As for LT... Can I just say that it has been nothing but Computer Crack for me? Totally addictive, and it's forcing me to reorganize my library here at home! I swear, there's an old librarian lurking in the formatting of that site who wants libraries of the world to be organized!

I know there are tons of groups, but what others there do you find helpful/engaging/fun?

I really had no idea I had this many books...and I'm still not finished...but I haven't got a paid account, so I had to pick and choose a bit what went into the 200 I was allowed for free..

Totally addictive...

Yep, I lurve it. I don't have a scanner so when Library Thing didn't have the right cover I searched Google Images. There are still a few I can't find.

It's absurd how much time I'm spending on there, and I'm not even making much of a dent in my collection!

Lyrique - I'm really liking the Tea group, and the one about bookshelves. The bookshelves message board has inspired me to consider organizing my library by color. They have pictures of a bookstore that did that for a week, it looked really cool.

I love the author gallery !
I've entered the ones I've read again and again, and the ones I'm currently reading.
Need time to file some more. But then I'll have no time to READ some more !

Jocelyn-- I'm a part of the Tea group, but they haven't been very... hmm... welcoming. *chuckles* I guess it was just the lack of response I received from them. But this Bookshelves group... hmm... I haven't seen that yet... I'm going to have to check it out!

Ophelia's Vengence-- That's exactly why I just went ahead with the $25 lifetime membership. I know I'll continue to use it, and it make more sense for me.

The first night I found Library Thing (thanks to Neil's journal) I was up all night entering the books that were sitting on the bookshelf next to my computer. It's a great way to procrastinate. I also love that you can submit reviews!

I found it through Neil's blog, too! I, also, was up all night, mostly playing with the UnSuggester!

You know, half the reason I'm trying to foist this concept on others is so that the UnSuggester's unsuggestions get better with more data.

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, I am that lame.
