Issue 4, anyone? Pretty good stuff but I'm gonna be seriously pissed off if this all goes back to the way things were before at the end of this series. I can understand why some hardcore fans are pissed, they're covering a lot of ground in these 7 issues and characters are being killed or worse, made out to be utter bastards (such as Reed Richards, Tony Stark, too, but I feel a bit more sympathy for him for some reason). Maybe the supplimental stuff makes up for it, but I don't have any desire to buy it. Anyway, despite that, I'm still loving this and hope it keeps going strong.
Spoiler: I'm not really familiar with Goliath, but the reactions of the other characters played off his death pretty well. And letting loose a bunch of supervillians to hunt down Cap's team -- that's the nail in the coffin for Iron Man's side, in my opinion.
I'll be happy when they're all out and I can read them back-to-back.

I didn't get the chance to pick up my new stuff this week, but I'm looking forward to it.

So, I've read the most recent one.

1) They cloned Thor? That's SUCH a bad idea. Glad it blew up in their faces.

2) The giant grave was one of the saddest things I've seen. And what an end to a classic B-list superhero.

3) Captain America is as culpable for that as anyone else.

4) I really hope we get a nice, splashy all-out war. And I hope we get Thor vs. Thor.

I didn't realize right away that the "supervillians" they let loose to hunt down Cap's team were clones at first.

There's blood on everyone's hands, and I think you're right: Cap didn't come out all clean and pure after the end of the big fight.

Thor vs. Thor would be awesome.

People are REALLY pissed about the way Reed Richards is being portrayed. I'm not a huge FF fan and I think they're doing a take on him that's good for a mini-series. But I've heard people say he's worse than Doctor Doom at this point, and that's what they're pissed about. It's somewhat of a valid point, I guess, though I understand why Millar went that route.

I don't know. Lately, the FF writers have been casting him as the consummate egghead, the guy who lives his whole life between walls of white bone, and given that, Reed's actions make sense, more or less. I do agree that it's out of character for Reed in the past, as when he saved the life of Galactus because saving life was more important than taking it. I do wish they'd given him more reason than, "The numbers don't lie." What I find more interesting is that Ben Grimm seems to feel more sympathy for Sue than Reed, which I didn't expect.
