I really should re-read that one. I love the silver hoard.

I loved Evil Harry and his intetionally incapable henchmen. I loved his "I have to play by the rules of being a Dark Lord" conversations with the Silver Horde. I've read about 1/2 of the discworld novels, but this one really made me laugh.

Nope, Just the paperback novel copy. That's probably why. It felt...incomplete.

It is pretty funny.

The artwork is quite nice as well.

I espcially like it for those times where you just have time to read a page or two.

Although, I have yet to acutally try cooking one of the recipes.

Smaug, how was Footnotes?

yes, well, he was in Philadelphia yesterday and NYC today. I was gonna go to Philly (I dislike driving into NYC, it's just such a trip into the Twilight Zone) but I just couldn't justify prolly 2 tanks of gas, having to buy the book, stand in line for who knows how long, all for a barely recognisable squiggle and maybe a photo. then drive home...a 3 1/2 hour drive.

I just couldn't do it. I wanted to do, very much, but with gas prices what they are and bills to pay it just seemed too frivolous.

really wanted to go to Neil's signing in NYC, too. ah well, perhaps another year.

Just read Where's My Cow? today.

The artwork by Melvyn Grant is beautiful, fun and whimsical.

I can see why it won the Ankh-Morpork Librarians' Award. Ook!
