the watch is another series than discworld?

No, sorry, I should have been more specific. There are a bunch of the discworld books that are about the watch in A-M. I was saying that I like those ones a lot.

I like the watch (Vimes is my fav. character) - but I think I like Ahnk-Morpork and whoever is there - be it the Watch, the Wizards or the visisting Witches.

I haven't read them all but Rincewind is my favourite character so far. However, nothing beats the description of how Ankh-Morpork is ruled - "Ankh-Morpork had dallied with many forms of government and had ended up with that form of democracy known as one man - one vote. Yhe Patrician was The Man. He had The Vote." (In Mort) Big Grin

Yep. You have to give the man credit for succinct descriptions if nothing else... And the Librarian. I suspect I'll be like that if I ever manage to make archivist type jobs.

you did? i haven't seen it. she was kind, she signed one of her comic albums, and in everyone's album she would write to 'yourname' and draw a little drawing, a different one for everyone. took a really long time, but it was well worth the waiting!

[translation] don't you know where nemi lives either? no, but... i think we're in the right neighbourhood. [/translation]

It looks more like a Danish flag in that strip. Is it saying that it's OUR fault that Norwegian people are freezing?

but you're doing great. haha, i just imagined getting a book but with you writing all along the border translating every page. er... that'll be crazy actually.
just finished The Fifth Elephant and reading Thief of Time right now. i really like both. especially Thief of Time. the very idea that Time has a son is really neat.
