I know I have not posted on here in awhile, but when I did I had mentioned that I just received my first writing gig. It was for a new upstart comic-book company. Well, finally, the company is announcing its official launch July 11 at the Toronto Comic-con. I will be writing Entropy and Dr. Twilight. They are both magic based with heavy fantasy elements. I just want to also add that there will be several copies of Crystal Fractals Zero available for purchase and signing. The issue will be the launching point for the first titles such as Project: Eipsilon, Dr. Twilight, Entropy and Magnus Rex. Two more titles will follow shortly after.

I want to thank everyone who stopped by our table during the Toronto comic-con. It was great fun for everyone. We had good traffic and people seemed to respond really well to the zero issue. In a few months the next titles will be released. I hope everyone keeps their eyes out for it. Ask your local store for details.

HOWARD WONG ("AFTER THE CAPE") TO WRITE CRYSTAL FRACTAL COMICS' REDORIK

- Howard signs on to script the first four issue story arc for Redorik -

Toronto: Howard Wong, the scripter and creator of the acclaimed Image/Shadowline series "After the Cape" signs on to write the first four issue arc for Crystal Fractal Comics' "Redork"

Redorik focuses on Justin Henderson a high school student and descendent of Natanael de Velasquez, a.k.a. Doctor Twilight, as he comes to terms with having super powers and the ability to hear voices. His therapist doesn’t know what to make of the voices, but after the death of his best friend, Justin believes he must listen to his conscious and take matters into his own hands. Redorik is an ongoing series that is soliciting near the end of 2008.

“We are extremely excited to have Howard on board,” says Derrek Lennox, founder and Editor-in-Chief of Crystal Fractal Comics, “we believe that his unique look at the jaded hero will be the perfect launching point for Redorik.”
