Listen...Are you paying attention yet? I just wanted to give a shout out to an inspirational figure for me over the past couple years in one Daniel Schaffer, artist and writer of the now classic DOGWITCH series at www.dogwitch.com .

I've been an avid collector of his comic since issue #1, and i can safely say that with the #18 finale extravaganza that shipped a few months back, the 'Illuminati/
Brotherhood' was thoroughly knocked on its arse. It showed 'The Order' as nothing but a bunch of two-bit crooks, and the little men in women's underwear that they really are. Dogwitch went right up against the KKK-Illuminati themselves, and in the end, everybody got their 'just deserts'. Basically an old fashioned ass-whoopen to be quite honest with you.... (Seriously, she was like Bugs Bunny, and all the Elites were like Elmer Fudds.)

What began as a voyage of Molotov magic and inter-dimensional kinkiness, transformed into a sly, witty, and poignant observation of not only the topics of the political arena, but also the philosophical nature of the universe, self, life, death, rebirth, and oh yeah-a good dose of mischief and humor on the side.

If you haven't witnessed dogwitch for yourself, you can check out some sample art, or order back issues and graphic novels of the title, at: DOGWITCH.COM

While Dogwitch might have come to a close (at least temporarily) with Issue #18, Dan is currently working out a deal with the Image comics group to publish a new horror/humor/supernatural title entitled 'The Scribbler'.

Daniel Schaffer is super talented, a very nice and cool fella, and his comics even arrive on time every once in awhile!!! Be on the lookout for more from his creative ingenuity in the near future!! Congratulations to his run on Dogwitch, and the comic industry will only be better off because of his upcoming contributions.

It's like the Twilight Zone, meets the Matrix, meets Evil Dead, meets The Ring, meets Child's Play, meets Alice in Wonderland, meets the Manson Family.. And that's not a bad thing. If you enjoy your humor wet, and your action on fire, then you'll love Dogwitch.
