I am currently reading Cerebus and I am up to issue 169 or so (and I'm loving it!). This might be kind of a stupid thread, but I'm particularly loving Sim's send up of Dream (Swoon) and I'm just wondering what kind of relationship (if any) Dave Sim and Neil Gaiman have or had. I know that extensive correspondence between Sim and various Comics figures like Alan Moore etc. and I'm wondering if anything like this existed between Neil and Dave.
I know they are friends. About a year or two ago, Neil posted on his blog (to win a bet) that anyone who writes Dave a handwritten letter would receive an autographed copy of a Cerebus comic. Dave didn't think anyone reads blogs and wouldn't go through the trouble to write a letter. He didn't want a form letter typed out. I guess he was overwhelmed with requests. I now have a signed comic in my collection.
I'm Matt Cable and I approve this message. ________________________________________________ I'm alright. Don't nobody worry bout me.
