Haven't heard of this til now.

Never liked her writing. Read "Interview" and thought it was rambling, disjointed, and frankly I don't have time for "beautiful poetic" anything. I'd rather spend the time ramming something sharp into my eyesockets then experience the "grace of gothicness."

She can so what she wants. It sounds like she had a difficult life, I just applaud her for making herself happy as much as anything, and not giving a crap about what other people's opinions are about it.

Dylan, Anne Rice, and Jesus in one thread. SCORE!!!! I love 'em all. Razz

Dylan's Gospel era was recently re-done in a wonderful compilation with some of the most important black gospel singers and Dylan did a new take on one of his songs. There's a DVD too.

I think Anne Rice writing about Jesus makes a lot of sense. In my mind there are strong connections both positive and negative between vampires, outcasts, and Christ. I don't know. It's just interesting to me and I do love her writing. I like to think I'm not the only crazy Rice/Gaiman/Jesus/Dylan/anime/comic book/absinthe drinking/blood loving crazy girl in the world. Smile
