Garfield without Garfield is soooo much better than Garfield. That is all I have to say.

Darth and Droids, gives the same treatment to the Star Wars prequels, (or at least Episode I) that DM of the Rings gave to the Lord of the Rings movies.

this might be the BEST page of any webcomic EVER.

"Are you a princess? I said & she said I'm much more than a princess, but you don't have a name for it yet here on earth."

-Brian Andreas

Limertilly: A pagan deity forgotten by man and therefore banished to the realms of memory and darkness now remembered by a young girl in downtown L.A. in the form of a dream and therefore freed to reap your revenge on the people who discarded you, thereby forcing said girl to learn to use her innate yet awesome powers as a soothsayer to gather forces of the Earth to defy you and once more banish you to your cold, cold prisoooooon

"Ah, but what if we take out the wrong half, and she finds out, kicks the schmutz out of us and puts the two halves back together and then REALLY kicks the schmutz out of us?" countered the Dr, "It would be safer to move the whole operation to Costa Rica, get on the net and find a cheap flight"

Yah, and with PBF on semi-retirement, it helps ease the withdrawal pains.

ErrantStory, though it's more of an online STORY more-so than a comic. (I'm the human version of Meji, I shit you not)

I don't read online comics, however someone's mention of Lio on the other page caught my attention. I'll need to find out if it's the same Lio that leaves a trail of candy for kids to follow to the snake in his backyard.

Also- Penny-Arcade IS an actual online comic which I follow religiously, even though I'm not now nor have I ever been a gamer-type person, technologically inept me, and thence do not understand some of jokes on certain games, but you get the jists and the hang of it after awhile.

*grin* I know. I'm hoping the future holds massive battles with lots of blood because people are fighting over how to say my name.

Welcome aboard by the way - if you drift into the World's End section there will probably be a proper welcome thread with red balloons and cinnamon brains, erm... buns.

Today's xkcd is actually kinda really sweet.

------
"Cynicism masquerades as wisdom, but it is the farthest thing from it. Because cynics don't learn anything. Because cynicism is a self-imposed blindness, a rejection of the world because we are afraid it will hurt us or disappoint us. Cynics always say no. But saying 'yes' begins things. Saying 'yes' is how things grow. Saying 'yes' leads to knowledge."

I just read up to chapter nine.
I like it.
I like stories where they don't tell you everything that has happened up till now in the first few pages.
I like the way the characters have been presented thus far.

Being a free read is a big plus too. Big Grin

Lan, I hold you responsible for my Ellisness. Now if I could just get ahold of the Doktor Sleepless series. I've scoured the internet and the single issues are still at least cover price or more.
