I've picked up the 1st 3 Parasol Protectorate at the most wonderful store at the local Car Boot Fair on Monday, anyone else reading them and what do they think?

I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.

She just finished the series (book #5) and it was fun!

If anyone would like to try it, I have Book #1 in paperback. Everything else is an ebook.

I read books one and two, but then the language use started to wear on me. I might go back for the rest. I bought book two at a reading! She brought the bookstore some very nice tea.

Reminds me a little of the Amelia Peabody series - down to the trusty parasol.

And busy! But I am really excited abotu it. And I have the kind of personality that really like knowing what I have to do, and what's expected of me. Having things planned in advance makes me happy.
