Clover, see, we told you, your entry is great.

Dweller- i2081 makes perfect sense to me as a publication date. The Scoundrel's character has had at least two years to contribute, and mine... I'll slightly modify his bio so that his own personal book on the War turned into a substantial contribution to the greater Encyclopedia project.

Cut and pasted from the PM thread:

Also, people who make pages, please sign your contribution: in the edit box, put in four tildes (looks like this: ~~~~) as the last line. That way we know who posted what when! It is important I think for the flow of the game to know who the entries are attributed to.

There's a "signature" button in the toolbar along the top, perhaps the far right or second to far right button on the line. Just click that and it puts the sig in automatically.

Posted my first article...hope that's ok...

"The other night I dreamed that King George VI was dead, and that Helen Hardinge had somehow or other got herself proclaimed Queen of England, and that I was detailed to go and tell her that it wouldn't do at all; and when I did this, all she said was, 'You see, I am really Queen Mary,' and I said, 'Oh very well' - words to that effect, and woke up.

Last night I dreamed that Eisenhower came to stay with us, and he insisted on being put to sleep in the dog kennel, with a collar and chain about his neck."

Sounds like a cool idea guys, I look forward to reading it.

I'm actually pretty jealous I missed this, could I get added to the list of alternates too, possibly?

I really don't know. I have my entry for "A" nearly done, but it's been tough without a home comp. Starting this right before Christmas might have been a bad idea.

Murphy has just moved house and is retreiving his worldly possessions from various hidey holes, then having to get some kind of internets connection. After that he'll probbly need a bit of a lie down - and by then it'll be christmas.

I was wondering what had happened. What a relief, though, that it's something good.

If you see him, please give him hugs from me. Or tell him that I send him hugs. Or something.

Clover's changing apartments as well. My general impression of the tenor of the start of this project was that we'd all just muck about for a bit before really getting under steam with the new year. Which, since I'll have a newborn, doesn't mean I'll be doing much more than a more vigorous mucking about than I can now with relatives visiting, but there you have it.

Yeah, I think so too. I'm glad all the out of touchness seems to be for good reasons (even if they are a bit stressful right now). As I said in the PM, I think starting off with a good project and a resolution to cultivate our creativity for the new year is a good idea. We'll continue to muck about the next two weeks and see where everyone is at after the new year.

Say, Dweller, when is that spawn of yours due? Please tell me I haven't missed the big announcement thread Smile

The official due date is December 25th, but, really, it's any time now.

After the New Year it is! - and Dweller, since you'll be very busy, I can keep on patrolling the Wiki and GMing when needed.

I don't know about planned. I'm getting psyched up to do my b entry (I had so much fun doing the others) but, personally, I'm realizing I can't make the one a week pace.
