jus wondering does anyone know him? read something

I've been a huge fan of his books. expecially the malaussene saga, that I started reading when I was 19 and was doing a lot of train traveling, I used to laugh so much and got so many weird glances by other passenger but they were so funny I couldn't resist.

a list of books can be found here

la fée carabine (the fairy gunmother, second instalemnent of malaussene saga) is one of my fav, also the first book of I once gave an english version to a friend and wasn't nearly as funny as I remembered it Frown.

Probably one of the most popular book he wrote is 'comme un roman' (translated in 'better than life') a book that teaches to adult how to teach kids the love for books. I read it when I was definetly already a little more than a kid and already knew the magik of books but I loved it anyway, found my-self into it so very much. some of my fav quote comes from this book and I'm going to try to translate them because I think they're absolutly fabulous:

'we are inhabited by books and friends'
'time for books like time for love is stolen time'

aren't they true?

I read "Dog" in about a day and found it incredibly sad, yet refreshing, and entertaining, funny in parts, and incredibly satisfying at the end. I will have to look up his other titles.
