Posted Hide Post I'll add a couple more to this list: Nalo Hopkinson. Read and enjoyed greatly her Skin Folk and The Salt Roads. Interesting voice and some of the tones are very Caribbean, which is a plus to me. Ben Okri, The Famished Road - This book won Britain's prestigious Booker prize about 10-11 years ago, I think, and I'm about to start on it. Premise looks promising, set in Nigeria, I believe. In the past few days, we've been getting a *huge* amount of Notifications that are bouncing back to the mod email. If you've noticed that you haven't been receiving your normal notifications (ie, new posts, private messages, etc), please make sure that gaiman.board.mods@gmail.com is in your email's safe list. The majority of the bounce-backs seem to be coming from hotmail addresses, so if you've got a hotmail email, please make sure we're in your address book, even if you don't have notifications set up.
