Really?
My store was 1 of each per person.
I got about 20 comics free. (or is that what you meant?)
I also spent about $150 on other things so they definitely won in the long run.

I think each store decides its own limits. Many of them only allow 1 free comic per customer. My local one allowed 3 free comics per customer. The store (and Mystique) handed out bags so, really, dishonest customers could have stuffed more than 3 in their bags.

Just depends on how many they get shipped versus how much traffic they expect.

my old comic shop would put 1 comic of their choice in the bag of those who had subscriptions.

guess why it is my *old* comic shop.....

I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.

when's spring due?.

Yeah, their only real restriction is that they have to give them away.

I was pretty impressed with this year's batch of freebies. Of course, I was considerably happier with the comics that were complete stories as opposed to the ones that were a hodgepodge of pages collected from upcoming comics.

Particularly liked Love and Capes.

Our store here says one of each per costumer. I think they'd prefer the adults not to take the kids' ones if they don't intend/have kids to read them.

I don't recall the store in NH having a limit per costumer, either. But I may be remembering it wrong.
