I've seen the opinion posted at least twice now of people specifically liking or disliking women fantasy writers.

Does a female writer issue forth a distinct perspective, warranting calling woman's fantasy a sub-genre or should the gender of an author not be recognized while reading a book, avoiding blanket statements of natural differences in points of view?

inspired by, but not about, this post: http://www.neilgaimanboard.com/groupee/forums?a=tpc&s=733605825&f=588609765&m=4096069461&r=3006065661#3006065661
