Okay, it's been a bit over ten years since I read it, and I don't know how old it was when I read it. I picked it up at my main library in a special Halloween section, Horror books, not kid's spooky stuff. So I'm pretty sure it's an adult Horror book. It was about a group of scientists (? or plumbers, I can't remember) visiting...I think it was the Titanic. Which was infested with ghosts. 'Gonna kill you' kind of ghosts. I've been looking for it again since shortly after that, but that's all I have to go on Frown Anyone recognize anything about it?

You need BookSleuth on the abebooks site! It helps if you are specific in the title, eg: "Adult horror - halloween on the Titanic?" rather than "looking for a book". Also you have to go back on the site to see if anyone has found it, as you don't get emailed or anything.

I'm betting on Something's Alive On The Titanic

There's this kingdom ruled by witches, separated from the rest of the world by a narrow "no-man's land" of beasties and dangerous terrain. There are jeweled crowns and what sounded like death knights. I don't really remember how the story resolved, either, which is kinda why I'm trying to remember it.

I want to say its from the 80's probably...the cover I remember had a witchy-looking woman with long black hair wearing a purple dress.

I prefer to live in a country that's small, and old, and where no one would ever have the NERVE to wear a cape in public, whether they could leap tall buildings in a single bound or not.

the parrot... ...gets tiresome.
the parrot... ...i ate him.
