Arghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! The pressure, the pressure!!! Such pressure!

Sure hope you like it Smile

Haven't read those DC comics you mentioned, but it really does seem like the whole mutant registration act the X-Men were always fighting to keep from happening Marvel. It better be good, or I'll be PISSED!

Have you read the two issue arc that Claremont and Byrne did in the early 80's? Uncanny X-men 141-142 Days of Future Past?

Oh, yeah. That was a fantastic arc! I love the X-Men. I really dug everything with the Sentinels.

Really? Seen the new clip for X3?

I really dug Claremont and Jim Lee's run, too, but I think my favorite thus far is Grant Morrison's New X-Men. Sorry if I sound like a broken record about it Smile.

Don't read all of this if you don't really want to know!

I'm fricking crazy about Daredevil. I started out reading Kevin Smith's run, went back and read Frank Miller's stuff, then read all of David Mack's and most Brian Michael Bendis (spoiler): in which Matt Murdock's secret identiy was outed in a tabloid magazine and culminated with him being sent to prison in Ryker's Island. Which is where the newest arc starts.
Now, in the new arc, Daredevil's going crazy in his new environment, especially once his best friend and partner, Foggy Nelson, apparently gets stabbed to death after meeting with him. Meanwhile, someone else is dressing up as Daredevil and kicking ass in Hell's Kitchen.

But I digress. I'm writing this because in the last issue, Bullseye's just been put in prison in a Hannibal Lecter-type get-up. And finally, after reading the paper about Matt Murdock's prison experience, The Punisher snaps a pimp's neck and surrenders to the police. The shit is about to hit the fan!

Dammit! How does this comic have the right to be so good?!?!

Is anyone else out there reading this?

I finally picked up Planetary 25 and it was excellent. I could not love this comic more unless it came out on time and on a regular schedule.
I also picked up a Capitan Britain collection that covers the battle with The Fury. This guy is badder than Ultron, Master Mold and Minion AKA Death's Head II put together. I have always loved Alan Davis's art and I have some other issues and another collection that takes place after this one. I was also a big fan of Excalibur when Alan Davis did the art and wrote it.
Anyway I really enjoyed it!

52 #1 was ok, I'm not sure if I will be buying it far much longer though. My money is better spent elsewhere.

Superman 652 was lame lame lame.

Goon #17 was a real good read. I highly recommend it.

Bought some back issues of Firestorm(from 1982) and the Demon(from 1990) very good reads.

Ion #2--a very OK read..something needs to happen fast.

52 #4, same verse, perhaps doing something better with the Question would help.

Haven't read much new stuff lately. I picked up Squadron Supreme #3, Moon Knight #2, and I will pickup Civil War #2, but I was wondering...What has the Silver Surfer been up to?

Any Marvel faithful out there to answer that?

My comic shop got shorted on their Civil War shipment, so I had to wait another week.

I did pick up the first Runaways book, which so far is a lot of fun.

Star Wars Legacy #0. Not much of a comic at all, actually, more of a source to get fans jazzed up about the new characters and storyline 100 years after Return of the Jedi...and boy did it do it's job! I haven't read SW comics for ages, but I'm really looking forward to this. I think the first issue comes out in a couple weeks.

My grab bag from this week:

Eternals 1: Of COURSE! Very very very good! Big Grin But you already knew that, right?

Civil War 2: Still Fricking COOL. Even if I had the ending ruined for me. *sigh* nowihavetowaitanothermonth...

New Avengers 20: Bleh. This comic really is nowhere near as good as it should be. The Illuminati special was a million times better. They get "disassembled" next month (a Civil War tie-in). That's when it looks like it gets good.

Star Wars Legacy 1: Alright, but...but it reminded me I should probably just wait for the TPB to come out and look at that instead. Lots of potential, though.

I did finish the first Runaways book. That was a lot of fun, too!

52: Second verse, same as the first.

Robin- surprisingly good. It helps to have never cared who Cassandra Cain was.

Flash #1- Am i the only who doesn't get the speed force thing? Maybe because I only started reading Flash since issue 218

Eternals--very disappointed, I was hoping for something stronger. Not sure how, but it just felt it lacked something. Depth perhaps? ::ducks and runs:: sorry

I am dating myself here but I haven't read Silver Surfer since the Ron Lim days.

I did pick up one issue of the latest Defenders attempt. It did not grab me. I assume that it has been canceled?

When Marvel Zombies comes out in trade I may pick it up.

I need to find out when the next Planetary comes out.

Another disappointing comic book day. Batman was poorly plotted, and uneven in its writing. The last page made me want to vomit. 52 was ok, not great though. Hawkgirl will be given one more shot and Ion was ok. I am waiting for better from all of them.

Maybe it's time to pick up some Marvel titles, Caligo! Wink A new Daredevil came out yesterday. Haven't had a chance to pick it up yet, but I bet it's good.

Maybe your right. I have been boycotting Marvel since the clone thing and the Onslaught/pocket universe thing with the lone exception of the first nine issues of New Avengers. For now though, I will still hold out.

Right.

Read New Avengers 21. This is the one I read about a while back that convinced me to stay with this series. Actually, it was pretty good, but I didn't need to read anything before it. It focused almost entierely on Captain America being hunted by SHIELD during the whole Civil War thing. I like the term capekillers for the SHIELD agents hunting down the unregistered superheroes.

Daredevil 86. Utter pandemonium in prison. Fantastic!

I'll consider it Scoundrel, but that would mean having to cancel one of my DC comics. And other then Hawkgirl, i can't think of one I would do that to yet. And do you need to be keeping up on the whole civil war thing to understand those two comics?
